This also means that Pokemon from Diamond/Pearl will also appear in Smash Bros. Brawl. Hopefully not the spoiler ones that appeared during the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald season like Munchlax and Lucario.

EDIT: I wonder if Giratina will ever appear in Brawl?

Oh yeah. Shadow Force. First he hides, and then strikes at random with it without any kind of premonition.

It could be the model from Pokémon XD. That was Munchlax's first game appearance.

I'm surprised Munchlax doesn't have Body Slam like Snorlax did in the previous games.

Because it´s somewhat smaller, perhaps? And maybe it´d get repetive with 2 pokémon using Body Slam in the game. IF Snorlax too is in, that is.

Assist Trophy: Lyn!

Another one of those characters that would probably have a bunch of people think belong as playable characters. Sigh.

Despite, of course, the fact that there is already confirmed to be one Fire Emblem character, and likely another one as well (who honestly thinks Marth won't return, seriously?).

She's also the second assist trophy that uses a sword. Then again, it seems like a third of the characters revealed use blades of some kind, so...

Yeah, I'm one of the many that would have preferred her to be a playable character. She's always been my favorite FE lord, so I would've been entirely down with her replacing Marth or something.

Oh well. At least she's in the game. Still pretty cool.

I know, another FE character with a new moveset and who is a chick to would have rocked. I am officially bummed. Oh well, at least assists lets them add more appearances even if it is sad you can't play as them.

Meh, I'm not partial to FE characters in Brawl. If I had played the games, it might've been different, but whatever

Also, the My Music is awesome, it beats having to hold L+R to get alternate music on a stage

Nostalgia-riffic. Stage: Halberd!

It even has the combo cannon:

Too bad the reactor's probably not playable... It would be an interesting boss fight in Subspace Emissary.

This stage looks like fun. In-built danger too.

...Umm. I don't think people ever used napalm to siege castles.

Regardless, I'd hope they aren't doing another "tools in flat zone" type of random damage thing.

That halberd was already in as a stage was kinda obvious from the beginning. Intresting to see that it's partly a auto-scrolling level, partly a level flying around on a platform ala the F-zero stage from SSBM.

The point wasn't that knowing it was a stage was new. It was knowing how the level worked, Ailure. The presence of the Combo Cannon was particularly interesting.

No matter. Today is Special Brawl!

In other words, a far more customizable version of Special Melee. Seems a bit silly to have the Stamina options be "Stamina" and "300%", though... "100%" and "300%" would make a bit more sense, or a customizable amount.

Epic Win. Seriously, not that it was a complete surprise, but still, it is awesome none the less.

Reduces the need for the Debug Menu.

I'm already thinking, Stamina mode with pernament Flowers would be like Timesplitters' Vampire mode: Kill or else... (In a sense, not precisely)

But couldn't they add more variety to this than just that? I'm sure that it could be adjusted to start in increments of 50 for bonus damage and starting HP. Adding another option for starting damage / MaxHP could've worked...pity.

(3^8 = Modes with this)

For all the naysayers... Ice Climbers!

Almost terminally cute...

It'll be interesting to see how they work with the footstool jump, if it works for them jumping off of each other.
