I think it may be a bit of a spoiler maybe because it will have only been a year since TP came out when brawl does and not everyone might know that Ganon is in it despite the fact it is a Zelda title. Ganondorf TP in brawl would totally be awesome. His animations and weapons and all that were oh so beautiful. He was so frickin' polished and refined in that game. It would be a damn shame to have Zelda and Link but not him. |

No new screens today. However...
Ocarina of Time Medley. So much for all Zelda games before TP getting ignored, huh? (I hear Bolero of Fire as the intro, then Song of Storms, then a very short interlude from something that sounds familiar that I can't place, then Epona's Song, then Song of Time, then Saria's Song, ending on Zelda's theme.) Overall, very upbeat and well-fitting for a battle scene. |

Completely unfounded hypothesis: This could actually be the music for that castle level that keeps showing up in screenshots. After all, it looks like it belongs to a Zelda game about as well as it looks like it belongs anywhere, particularly since Pit already has a different level associated with him, it appears. Failing that, it could belong to any given Zelda-inspired level. After all, he did say it would be played in-game... And it's way too dramatic for menu music. |

Posted by Skreeny The use of this music makes these 2 things much more likely to occur. 1) Zelda's Final Smash would have something to do with the 3 Gods of the Triforce. 2) We may be stuck with the OoT related characters (ie. Every Zelda game since OoT has had some form of OoT (and other Zelda-ish) nods included in them, the Brawl site even acknowledges this in the song summary. Wind Waker was comprised entirely of music from other Zelda games for example. TP had a lot as well. OoT being the first 3D Zelda was significant, and so the music from it is incredibly memorable, maybe moreso than any other Zelda game's music. So the fact that they'd brought it back for Brawl, is pretty much expected.
I really don't think you can look at this music as a hint toward anything specific.. It is just a remix of some very popular songs that have also appeared in later Zelda games since then. Not that I am saying Sheik won't make the cut (there is probably a fairly good chance she WILL make the cut in some form or another, just maybe not as a Zelda transformation) but you can't really use this as any leverage toward your argument that she'll be back. (No one was arguing that OoT elements wouldn't be in the game, just that the Link and Zelda characters specifically were made after the TP designs, and it goes to logical reason that they'd stay consistent with TP's lore.) |

I know you are right but its just sorta my hopes... But I think we are slightly ignoring all the other characters that may be removed from the cast.
