Last I heard, it was confirmed that all people in Melee are Brawl.

No... remember that Japanese newsletter thing Sakurai had on the old Smash Bros Dojo site? In it, he said that not all the characters from Melee will return.

No specifics, though.

Pikachu's smash attack looks pretty fun. Wonder how much it hurts and how long it lasts...

I'm still really interested in seeing how Kirby's super smash works. I mean, in the original game Kirby would bang a spoon and bad guys would jump into the pot, but I know that won't work here.

I doubt they'd be willing to jump into the pot. Might have to cram em in there. On another note The Volt Tackle Final Smash looks cool, don't even relate it to pk thunder, that move pissed me off so much when you have to try to hit yourself at the right angle when falling.

Am I the only one noticing that the site says that the volt tackle can get canceled? Wonder how you would go around to cancel something like that...

I believe that the Volt Tackle will work close to how the Volteccer(Short for Volt Tackle in Japanese I think) from Pulseman works, as the Volt Tackle was named/based off of that in the games, and Pikachu is in the ball, as seen by the last picture after the attack wears off... I suspect you have control over it unlike in Pulseman, however, though I'm curious if it bounces off walls to extend it or not...

It’s quite speedy while airborne. This...can be dangerous.

It flies through the air wildly, so take care not to lose control.

If it gets cancelled in midair, something terrible will happen.

*picture of Pikachu falling down*

Ah... This doesn’t look good.

I guess with cancelled, it means "when it runs out of power." Might suggest that it's a bad idea to let it run out over a open pit or something.

I think cancel means when it runs out, therefore cancelling the ability.

It could always be that you could just stop using it at a given point, if it seems like you're running out of time and you aren't quite sure when it'll be or something.

Much like you can stop charging Shiek's little throwing knives (or whatever they are) by hitting R.

EDIT: Today... Wario!

Watch out, Kirby!

So far I have not seen Wario using is classic shoulder/arm charge attack that is in the Wario Land games.

Also, as for a Wario stage, it probably would be more Wario Ware oriented than Wario Land.

Amazing... you can actually see Fox's reflector when not in use:

(Oh, Fox's moves today. Nothing exciting in the slightest seeing how it's all the same as in Melee, but you get to see his new style a bit more.)

"Did you notice that thing dangling from Fox’s waist? What is that?

It’s a fine piece of weaponry, and one that most fighters envy.

Enemies won’t flinch at the impact of its shots, but it does have rapid-fire capabilities."

...grand.

Meh, they really should do double updates if they're not going to say much more than "this character has the same moves as in Melee". If that means running out of updates quicker, how about splitting the new characters' move updates in two, giving us only one new move every time? At least we'll be getting new material every time.

Final Smash Assumptions (in order of most certain to going out on a limb)
Mario- Giant blaze of fire covering a decent portion of the stage.
Wario- E3 trailer occurence.
Kirby- Cooks a person adding damage to them and replenishing some of Kirby's health.
Pit- Light Arrow rain I suppose
Snake- Rocket bombardment.
Fox- hell if I know, most likely something to do with the Arwing
Metaknight- Some magical power with his sword yadda yadda
Pichu- Smaller, quicker version of Pikachu's Volt Tackle
Luigi- Green version of Mario's Final Smash
Jigglypuff- Somethin to do with either singing or slapping the crap out of everyone.
Mewtwo- Psychic somethin thats for sure.
Donkey Kong- Somethin to do with either bananas or explosive barrels.
Ness- Some huge explosion of PK somethin-or-other.
Falco- Same as Fox I suppose.
Young Link- Not creative but I am guessing a version of Link's attack which is quicker and able to switch targets.
Zelda- Somethin to do with the Goddess' Wrath using all 3 Goddess Gifts.
Sheik- Hell if it doesn't have to do anything with smoke I'd be surprised.
Mr. Game & Watch- Probably turns everyone into paper thin people and weakens defenses, lowers weight and attack.
Dr. Mario- Somethin to do with shots (PLEASE GOD NO!)
Peach- Using some sort of kitchen device and whacking someone repeatedly resulting in major blood loss or a concussion. (I wish)
Bowser- Laughs evilly and rants about an evil plan while dropping Mecha-Koopas from his clown-flyer. or just temporarily transforms into Giga Bowser (HELL YEA!)
Ice Climbers- Polar bears from Heaven I dunno.
Yoshi- A stampede of yoshi's or some sort of weird language speaking.
Capt. Falcon- Someone gets run over by a floating car.
Ganondorf- Someone gets sliced to hell in a dark version of Links attack using Ganondorfs sword which SHOULD of been in Melee.
If I forgot anyone it means I do not care or I just forgot and will update thoughts.

Despite the detail, no fox claws/fingernails. But at least they come to a point representing them.
