Yeah, looks like Kirby or Mario 64 to me...
Checkerboard pattern reminds me a little bit of the checkered fields in Kirby Air Ride. The castle in the background goes with that theme as well. |

Posted by Sgraff87 Yea, I really hope so. As far as stages are concerned, I think there's still a LOT left to see. I mean we haven't seen any unique stages. They all more or less follow the battlefield structure. |

But definitely sweet to see they kept her original armor. ^^ Unless they are crazy enough to give characters more than one costume (Mario's hawaiian shirt for Delfino Plaza?). |

Most likely this will happen:
1) Samus (power suit) will have severly weakened physical attacks but shooting attacks will be stronger. 2) Samus (zero suit) will have strong physical attacks, and shooting attacks will be Fox level (cheap blaster) 3) they'll pull a Zelda/Sheik thing on us again. ____________________ Happiness is an internet without the idiocy. for the extra costume idea they gotta have classic wario, and 8-bit or paper mario.... maybe eve cape mario to explain his >+B attack... kirby will probably be different colors.... but zero suit samus might have old-school best ending style... and (hopefully) regular samus will have a phazon suit costume... ____________________ |

Actually I can imagine it will be a Zelda/Sheik thing again, but you can't go back. Like, it's permanent.
I would think that Samus alone would have powerful range and Zero Suit would be very good close range and very fast. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Woo! Samus finally! THese are the first shots of her in action right? Before this, it's always been of her in Zero Suit form.
I think the fourth picture is the more important one. Notice it's a picture of her landing, as if from a jump. Now, look at her cannon: it's charging. Does this mean that you can now charge the Charge Beam in mid-air instead of the craptacular tiny shot fired in the air in Melee? I'm a Samus user so for me, this could open up whole new tactics for me.  ____________________ |
