Yeah, the difference between those two might not be too clear with the description given.

When things look grim, for one day, just drop income taxes to <20% and take the economic hit that happens. Losing wars isn't an option. |

I'm in bad terms with only one person. He attacked me like a coward, lost, then offers me peace and hides in an alliance of over 1,000. I still have his peace treaty sitting in my inbox. I'm not going to accept it. I'll build up the next couple days and attack him back.
Seeing that 20% income tax thing you said Ziff, is my taxing low at 15%? Edit: That guy that attacked me is so inactive it's not even funny. He made his nation 111 days ago and he's still weaker than me.  |

It's understandable that if you were stronger because you had aid and he didn't, and the age difference isn't big but... 111 days?

I'm still unsure if I want to risk attacking him back though. The alliance I'm in only has 30 some members. I don't really want to put them in danger.
I might have to just blacklist him until later. |

I say that you stick with whatever alliance you're in right now. You're going to want to get stuck in with some good guys and know how to fight with them. |

Just want to warn Thexare Blademoon that I joined a trade guild, which means that I can get some nice bonus resources but... as soon we find the right partners I have to switch to them. One of my own allies just cut a trade off. 
My population stopped loving me. I'm going to remain in this alliance, it's small and I'd rather stay in an alliance I'll be known in rather than just be one tiny part of something big. Edit: I made a flag for this alliance which is pretty cool mainly because they liked it quite a bit. |

So someone attacked me today, and now my nation's in anarchy.
Given a little more time, I'll have him in the same state. He has an alliance listed, but he's the only member. Here's a link if any of you want to smack him around some.

I think it would be best if you got them back yourself, it's much better if you get your own revenge. Unless you want someone else to attack them for now. |

One thing I've learned to dislike about this is that it's impossible to view nations or anything else without logging in, so naturally I can't actually view anything.
I should just make a crappy nation and get blown to shitterienes for fun, though. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

At first I thought the number of your supporters equaled your population. Then I found out the number of those working was what counted for any improvements.
I get people asking to trade, but these people also send the message to like 20 other nations, I'm too slow. I should have asked for a startup package when I joined this alliance. Someone said it's best to get your first improvement after 2000 working citizens, is there any reason for it or is it a lie? |
