You just hurt my feelings.

I'm not against a name change, but I haven't heard any suggestions that I'd consider particularly worthwhile so far. I'm not sure if "kafuka", with all its weeaboo connotations, is really the right choice; besides, the domain belongs to Emuz and we'd have to ask him about permission first and there is that whole issue with physical control of the domain currently being with ||bass and everything.

Before I read blackhole's post i was going to suggest the name "Kafuka Evolution" which, admittedly, is rather lame. Since we want to go with a name that actually fits the site, why don't we deliberate on a name (another one that just popped up is acmlm.kafuka) and keep the URL. Because the domain belongs to Emuz and we'd have to ask him about permission first, keeping the URL and changing the name would be a good idea.

It's not funny really, naming yourself after the year would get tiresome and boring, and besides, this whole thing is meant to move away from board2, rather than stick with it.

Also I think acmlm.kafuka.forums or something like it cough cough sputter sputter would be good.

I think the hip thing now is abbreviations. If we want to fit in with the direction that modern style (at least that which I see) is pointing us, we should just make it something like:

"bd²".

Though a name like that could attract the wrong kind of folks anyway.
My personal suggestion if we go that direction, is:

"bdii"

Suggesting the presence of a classical-class, with a modernistic twist.
