Yeah bitches! Don't forget to start your torrents! (Downloading the full set of CDs/DVDs/Blu-ray is not actually necessary for the bandwidth and optical media conscious... most people should be installing it over the network unless you have special needs to require the full CDs/DVDs/BD). |

Network install is... interesting and makes total sense. ____________________ Wife make lunch - Shampoo Opera - give it a spin Spare some of your free time? <GreyMaria> I walked around the Lake so many goddamn times that my sex drive was brutally murdered Kawa rocks — byuu |

Network install over the internet sounds like a bad idea to me. What if it fails and crashes, and the next book up your ethernet no longer works? I thought network install made sense for an intranet, but for the internet... I don't know so much. Depends on what tools you have available in the event of failure. (Other OSes on bootable media available to help repair the system.) ____________________ Zelda Hacking Forum hobbies: delectatio morosa |

Posted by MathOnNapkins Wow.... quite a level of paranoia there. If you don't like the idea, then just download a CD or DVD and install from there ~_~ Posted by blackhole89 ... they already do. (How else would it possibly work?) Plus, this isn't exactly a groundbreaking feature. It's been available for years... |

hmm, well ndiswrapper should always be used as a very last resort, and there's very few wireless cards that would require its use. That being said, I would be slightly surprised if the network install didn't include it... |
