Try using avisynth with directshowsource("sourcefile.mkv") as a script together with a compatible encoder.

Also if you want to really lazy, I believe VLC will do it for you, just won't look quite as nice, The option is File->Convert/Save.

(however blackhole's advice or similar would provide a better final product.)

	nebetsu@yajuu:~$ cat ./documents/post Looked through the menus and VLC doesn't seem to do it. It does it if the subtitles are in another file, but these ones are embedded in the MKV. Avisynth seems like a lot to learn just so I can watch Kung Fu Hustle in hi-def on my big tv using my 360. >> ____________________ Get Fluxbox
