My original NES caught the wrath because of Ninja Gaiden. I'd make it to the last level and that friggin bat, bird, whatever the hell it was screwed me everytime. I smashed my NES into a million pieces, kinda like Michael Bolton on Office Space. |

I used to twist and bite the hell out of my NES controllers as a kid whenever the games "cheated" (I lost). Incidentally, my two original NES controllers barely work now. Luckily I got a couple of NES Max controllers years back and have managed to control my teeth. ____________________ andrew sylvester dot com | retrogaming @ robot vaudeville |

used to get pissed at ps2 games and slam and punch the fuck outta the controllers, never the system. Obviously, none of them vibrate and one of them has a giant hole in the plastic casing around the rumble motor. When I got my 360 and got angry, because it was so expensive, I punched the TV or floor and cussed a lot. Of course I cuss a lot during games anyways, especially online gaming. Eh, don't really do either that much anymore because I have shitty internet and no new games. Whenever I get good internet and Killzone 2, however.... ____________________ |

I can't say that I've ever broken or destroyed a game. I've gotten angry while playing some games before, but at least I was able to refrain myself from destroying the game itself.
Laugh if you will, but one game that would always anger me anytime I would play it is Pokémon Pinball for the Game Boy Color. I would always get so close to accomplishing a certain task, but then something would always go wrong and I'd lose the ball. Instead of throwing the game (since that would be like throwing the money I spent on it out the window) I would throw my pen into the empty Simpsons popcorn bin in the corner of my room. The loud "ping" would somehow settle me down - at least until I would pick the game up again and continue playing. |

Posted by joxalot Those pieces must of gone everywhere, am I right? Oh, and once i had this very old game console (by old i mean the console type). Every time i played a mario game, it would freeze at the half of the level. Got so angry that i (your not going to believe this) ripped the controller in 2 pieces just by squeezing it when it was in my hand! When it hit the floor, 26 sparks went flying (luckily nothing caught on fire). |
