Anybody ever smashed / broken a game physically out of frustration? What was the game?

I did it once: Dead Ball Zone for the PlayStation. Broke that disc right in half and threw it in the floor. Felt goooooooood. Then bought it again a year later.

I've only broken stuff by accident, as far as I remember. My foul mouth does not seem to damage my games, though. But if they DID, I don't think I'd have any anymore .

I'm sure that I HAVE, but I just can't remember.

The worst I do is what the FPS community call "ragequit".

And that's something that only happens if I play on a otherwise bad day.

Never really broke anything out of anger. The only time I actually broke anything was a Gamecube controller, but that was from playing Wind Waker too much. I wore out the up direction of the joystick, so now it just sort of dangles.

...I tripped over a Paper Mario N64 cartridge once when it was hooked up to a Gameshark... Snapped the PCB connector right off.

The worst I've probably done is step on discs, although I remember when I was like 8 I was pissed off with my brother and threw his pokemon sapphire out the car window when we were on the way to my uncles

I remember somebody accidentally stepping on a Super Mario Bros cartridge we had and breaking it. Other than that, I can't think of any game related things that have been broken in my house, other than a plethora of N64 analog sticks.

I once got so pissed off at a game (Can't remember which one it was, I think it was Gradius 3) that I ripped the controller out of its connector socket and whirled the controller around in a circle a couple of times and sent it sailing right through my living room window.

Worst fit of game rage ever for me...

I've personally never reacted on the hardware as a result of video game related frustration, though my younger sister almost ruined a Dualshock2 Control by tugging on the cable when she got angry over a game... The wires are exposed for several inches out the top.

Well, my brother broke my best Gamecube controller once by pulling out the cord out of frustration.

He also accidentally stepped on my GBA

Of course, I've broken things too. The Gamecube controller I use now is beat up, and all damaged, and I broke my GBC out of frustration.

And my DS Lite's L and R buttons have stopped working from it being dropped.

I broke a lot of SNES/N64 controllers years ago (age 8-10 or so), although those things are pretty strong... they took quite a lot of punishment before succumbing to destruction. I haven't broken any games/controllers/etc in the past few years though.

I've so far..
Bricked a Gamecube controller.. Which fell to the floor. (Official one)
Lost the directional control on the replacement for the controller above. (Official one again)
Bricked a Gamecube Memory Card.. The contact died.
Damaged the case of my regular DS a lot.. oh.. and the battery cooked itself. (Battery still works, just unreliable)
Melted the A button on a GBC..

Every game I've had has survived.. some of my GC discs have a few scratches but play perfectly fine.
