Those articles mostly accurately sum up my opinion of my and my succeeding generation(s). If I had to say, most of those articles I can definitely say "Amen" to. I really like how the ideas are out forward.

Although it does help to have views that match hers. *boat*

pieguy1732, the problem is that there are plenty of situations observable in everyday life where kids are being a massive annoyance to everyone not wearing 10 layers of pink goggles (think the typical fusses in the supermarket queue) and it's either clear parents could keep their kids under control if they only wanted or there is no reason for them not to just leave said kids at home if it can be expected they only will be annoying everyone. Honestly, such events seemed to be on the decline here in the past year, but then, this is Europe and not the country that is the earth's capital of bad parenting so I kind of expect it to be many more times frequent in your area

At some points, yes, kids can be a massive annoyance to the point of not being able to ignore them (one example happened to me recently where some kids vandalized our yard), though things like that don't happen as often as Lenina seemed to imply (to me at least). When someone becomes that annoying, someone else needs to put a stop to it; I agree with the fact that parents sometimes just let their kids run wild but the whole ideas of "all kids are annoying", "kids should be locked away", "kids do nothing except for being annoying", and the like just make me mad (especially when the disruptions presented could have been ignored)...

Kids are less mentally developed. They don't understand the same as adults. Their brains think differently. Same with when you're a teenager.

It's all about learning how to act and think. Kids think differently, and will respond differently. Take 2 glasses that hold the same, 1 tall, and one wide. Ask a kid which holds more. They'll respond "The tall one". Ask an adult, you'll get "They hold the same".

But these days its like the little kids have all the power. Little kids these days are the mouthiest little shits I've seen. Sometimes I just wanna give em a smack upside the head when they get their little attitudes. I agree with the first poster though. Put kids who misbehave in their place. Plain and simple. lol no sense getting all flustered about it if you are a little kid. Not gonna say any names lol.
