Posted by blackhole89I meant mostly it going up by 2s; in some places it goes up by 4s, 8s, or even more rediculous numbers (I've seen 20 and 40s, mabye 80s too and all kinds of oddball inbetweeners)Posted by Xkeeper Honestly, the numbering system here makes no sense. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Around here there are sometimes weird gaps in the numbering and the two sides of the street don't necessarily match up. There's one street where it's like 4162 on one side and 29335 on the other. This must be confusing for someone looking for a particular address because they assume the addresses on one side more or less match those on the other. |

I don't know what my house number is, but I think the lowest one I've lived in was 908. The houses on that street were one side evens, opposite side odds. ____________________ If you read this, then you must really be bored. |

Posted by JDavis I've seen similar stuff in rural parts of Michigan that numbered their houses recently to accommodate the 911 system. They don't bother naming the roads, they just number them. |
