Let's see here...
Discovering roms -> discovering hacking -> FuSoYa -> odds and ends, can't remember -> Acmlm I3 -> an explosion -> Board2 -> Hiatus at AwesumBard/Genericboard/various -> Back to Board2.I think that's about right.

What amazes me in this thread is that many people remember EXACTLY how they found the forum, up to the links on the Internet. I have no fucking idea how I got here, sometime during the 2nd incarnation. I think. My best guess would be that I found the site through Google. Anyone has an idea? Some obscure archived data pointing to the referer?...

I found the old Acmlm main site way back when it just barely first started. It was only then when I discovered ROMs and Emulators, so I began to google it. I had dialup (14.4k mind you) back then, and I had to ask my parents to get on.

Ever since then, I mostly migrated with this community, from one incarnation to another, lurking, posting once in a while... This went on for a bit until recently (2 years in this case) exciting stuff started to happen and became much more involved.

My Journey:

1. Searched for MMX Mugshots, wound up at ACMLM's.
2. Got a PM there from VGFreak for his new board (new at the time), Nihongo Freak Forums.
3. There were members at NFF from another board. I followed them to Xeogaming.
4. I had heard about the split, and wound up at Jul.
5. I forgot my password there, but resorted to lurking rather than getting a new one. Eventually checked out this board.

Not particularly epic or anything, but there ya go.
