You know, the system requirements are quite low. You could probably run it with a 128mb graphics card for example.

Spore is probably better than Simcity societies.

...which wasn't really made by Maxis.

Spore creators are awesome, but the gameplay between the creators is too flat for me. :/ Even the orginal The sims have a deep gameplay.

And actually, some of other Maxis games are worse than Spore. Spore might be the worst from Maxis this century however..

i didn't like sim city because its very, very complicated for me.
same with sims 2.

sim the first was ok, but IMHO its too boring. even with the expansion packs.

i like however, sim theme park. it is the first sim- game that i liked.

i like spore as well, cause mainly, it has no /sim-/ prefix. kinda refreshing for me. second, i really like...

...creature maker because i let my imagination run wild and make creatures *coughdragonscough* and maybe trading them.

...vehicle (especially UFO) maker because i like mecha and most of my vehicles are mecha. mecha rocks.

sadly, it sucks when it gets to the space stage because of the sheer size of the galaxy. 50K stars? gimme a break! i got bored when i got to... let's say 'bout 160 stars.

also, what spoils the fun is that goddamn complexity meter. thats why my dragons are only as big as a dog.

maybe the only rewarding time at the space stage is when i blow up earth.

overall, spore sucks in gameplay, but what made it a lovely gem are the DIY's and creators(creature,car,boat,aircraft,UFO). a great game for people who wants customization (lots of it).

P.S. sims in the handhelds are epic failures.

I dabble in it. I've mostly been re-creating mechs from BattleTech (can't put them up now - I'm posting from my laptop). I'll try for something more original, but I'm best at making fighters.
