Agree'd. Would make it easier to post pictures of a large size.

Example: the Board2 Base, back when it was still being posted (rather than being linked to as an HTML file).

It may not be so large as to not fit on the page if it isn't inside a layout.
Plus, sometimes the layout skewers colors and such.

If layouts were stored in a manner similar to AcmlmBoard classic, we would already have this feature. Also, I never liked auto updating layouts from the start, so this is the solution I'd like to see.

It's really not much more than adding an extra field to the posts table, and being able to set it in newreply/newthread.php, then just adding if($post['nolayout']) $post['head']=$post['sign']=''; to threadpost.php.
