Last view: 4613 days 		There are potentially dead Russians on mars. There were already dead Russians on mars that died on impact 6 hours before Apollo missions first made it to the moon.

Supposedly, Russia sent 6 cosmonauts to Mars, but their brains started baking off due to cosmic rays. All hell broke loose aboard the vessel and the USA couldn't confirm if the Russians actually got into the landing craft that automatically deployed at Mars due to communications issues. If the Russians did somehow get into the lander, they landed, but were already dead well before getting to Mars.

So the Russians technically beat the us to both planets.
