Each segment shows one of the different sprite sets. I didnt use the "standing on ground, preparing to dash" sprites, becouse MM is always in the air before dashing. In my opinion, this "does it", so i'd like to keep it. I realize the double-post, but i think it's defendable. |

Posted by Panophobia It should have some smoke while dashing. I'm also suprised that the dash ASM was used on a Rockman 2 game as the Rockman X 8-bit Character but never used in the air. |

That new anim looks awesome! It does have trailing dust/smoke, it's just harder to see. |

I´m so happy that the execution with my sprites looks so fine.^^ ____________________ I was a prisoner enclosed in the void, were everything might end up just as myself. It's slowly going forward.
I will seem to have a lot of free time down the road. For the beginning of 2009, i decided to release a progress estimate: http://megaman4unnamed.livejournal.com/ The percents are plainly based on how much i feel each element/level is complete. If its weird, i do agree. I will do one of these monthly. |

Wow, this is amazing! I am stunned. This is probably the best megaman hack ever. Classic megaman has gone progressive! Everything is so well-made, and it's also free from that common problem: even the most ambitious and advanced hacks can still be boring to play. This isn't, it has that most advanced component of a video game - being entertaining.
Keep up the good work! I can hardly wait to play the finished version. Already now I can with confidence say that this hack will go to the game hacking history. |

I'm really late to the party, but I hardly ever sit down and play hacks anymore. you don't need me to tell you that this is rad. the way you've built upon a mega man is refreshing, and I'll definitely be playing through the final product. |

Looking forward for this release. I've played the demo some months ago and I loved it, it's truly very high-quality work.

Demo was cool. I liked the open-ended structure of the level - it was nice to see some innovation to the typical Megaman gameplay. Is it possible to get the first letter of the code without killing yourself afterwards?
I liked the little energy bar associated with me charging the Megabuster. Nice touch there. Most exciting about this release was the video I saw of the weapons you designed. The sheild was pretty unique, and some of the other ones looked cool, too. It made me very interested in what the bosses that weild these weapons are going to be like. When you get a chance, definitly release a demo that lets us play with a couple of the weapons or let us fight one of your robot-master bosses (rather than this rehashed MM4 boss). All the screen shots and video you have make this game look sick. Keep us posted. |

Hi, first I want to say this is looking like a fantastic hack and I'm very interested in checking out the final product.
But I'm making this post to point out a somewhat minor glitch I came across. I entered this room with the Rush Coil equipped and I opened up the pause menu to change back to the Mega Buster. Once I selected it and the game went back to the level, this happened: The graphics got all messed up. I say it's minor because once you go down the ladder, the graphics fix themselves; and once you go back up, everything's fine again. Also, this glitch doesn't happen when you use the select button to revert. |
