So, maybe I'm crazy, but I'm sending ND up against Wash St. in the final for the win. Probably won't happen but I dream big, and if it goes through I'm winning this thing straight up. I heard some people saying that Ohio State won't make it through their division, but I really can't find a team there that will match up with them. It should be a good tourney. |

Who do you have beating them, Memphis, Louisville, Tennessee? I don't know, they may be young but Ohio State is a good team this year, I just can't see those teams beating them. Anyways, it would be very humorous to see a Florida Ohio State rematch, especially if it ended 41-14 (which is exactly the score I would've picked if I had them going up against eachother in the championship). |

Posted by Colin Actually, I know of a few people that would back you on VCU; they were pumped last I saw against Duke. Lot of people took Georgetown in the final as well. I just went against and just shot out Ohio St. for no reason just to see if shit would stick. |

Well it's suicide to pick all 4 #1 seeds to advance to the final because it never happens. The only #1 seed I have in the Final Four is Florida... rest are Georgetown, UCLA and - as my upset pick - Tennessee. 
13/16 today, very nice - and my 3 mess-ups (George Washington, Texas Tech and Gonzaga) weren't going to the Sweet 16 anyways.  |

Duke sucks, has sucked all year. It was quite the pleasure watching them lose like they did, at least to a guy who bleeds Tar Heel blue like myself. I enjoy watching VCU, though; I watched Maynor's heroics in the CAA conference tournament before the NCAAs and came away impressed. This clutch performance just took that a step higher. ____________________ |

Fuck! That's about all I can say to NDs play today. It was crap. Apart from losing my champion of the tournament, I got through the first round without losing any other team that I had winning a 2nd round game. |

Bad news: I got 11 of the first-round matchups wrong. 
Good news: I also only had one of them, Duke, winning in the second round.
Final Four's Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgetown, and Ohio State, and I've got Ye Olde Hoyas beating Kansas in the champeenship game. Sounds reasonable, yes? |

I'm surprised anyone who watched the Badgers play would pick them to go far in the tournament. Their offense was basically stagnant and it was clear that any team who could slow down Tucker and Kammron Taylor could beat them, which is why I actually eliminated them in second round. Tar Heels looked pretty strong against Mich. St., Hansborough had a breakout game, and yet USC also looked pretty good against Texas. Showdown, go!
Also, no double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16 for the first time in 12 years.  ____________________ |
