Ever since I connected my camera (which had very little battery life left) to my computer, I've been getting "Attempt to open invalid address" whenever I try to open .png or .jpg files. Strange thing is, this happens only to those types of files; everything else opens fine, and even then, .pngs and .jpgs open correctly in Paint and other image editors. This has happened before with one specific .exe: Paint Shop Pro 3.11.

Looking through some topics about this on the internet has led me to believe that this is either spontaneous partial corruption of RAM, or something happened to the Windows png/jpg libraries.

I really would like to know just what the hell is going on, before I go running to the local OfficeMax and spend $75 on a new stick of RAM
