Last view: 5674 days 		I just found fraxy, and it's very cool. I just have a little problem with the music, certain tracks work (like music from La Mulana and Cave Story) and others don't (like music from Megaman 9), they're both in MP3 format. I put them in the BGM folder and when it randomly picks one of the songs that doesn't work, it still shows the name in the corner, but it's just silent. Is there anyway I can fix it so that any MP3 will play in the game?

I remember running into that problem myself. If I recall it correctly, for some odd reason, it wouldn't accept MP3s I converted with foobar2000 but worked fine if I converted the same songs with Audacity, which leads me to assume it might be some problem related to tags/tag formats.

But then, I don't really remember anymore...

Repeatedly applying the powers of Science™ revealed that Fraxy's music code plain off doesn't like filenames with spaces in them.

Remove those and everything works fine.
