After a while, most of it just reduces to simple trajectory calculations. It's only remotely fun to just make absurd shots with the more amusing mobiles (lightning/trico/nak). Boomer is powerful, and initially hard to use, but it's not that fun.

You still play, Xk?

I... um... don't. XD I have it still installed but yeah... it's only fun with people you know.
I don't play, ever. Mostly because of a lack of "windowed" mode... it screws with my mouse, otherwise.

That and the lack of other people who do :\

I thought the old classic forums had something that changed the gunbound client to make it windowed?

That is what picking random and battling with it is so much fun.

Boom is overrated and used to be overpowered. I thought it was rather easy to use, at least when I played it every day. :/

This'd give me incentive to play Gunbound again if I had friends to play with. Hell, anyone from this board would be fine if they weren't a freaky foreigner. (although, my friend who actually is from spic-land -- Chile -- said he was willing to play this a while back with me... I wonder if I can get him back into it) And don't worry, said friend is smart.

I'd kill if I could also get Bloodstar to play, but the installer's near 130MB and he's on AOL... :/ Plus I'm not sure how well it'd run on dial-up anyway, but he has no trouble with RO, so...

If the download is via a torrent, then it'd be little problem. That's how I got RO, and it only took 4 days...
