The purpose of this thread is to share and discuss your gaming glitches that you may have encountered, seen, or otherwise stumbled upon which made you laugh so hard you were writhing in pain.

I've got one for an old N64 game that I've been performing for 7 years. It never gets old. I call them "Snotrockets". Emulator sound doesn't work for this game, so I added soundtrack to it. Enjoy!

Edit: If anyone knows how to embed the high quality versions of videos, let me know...

Heh, the hit detection of early 3D games allows for this kind of screwy bugs.

Ocarina of time and Super Mario 64 comes to mind. In Ocarina of time, you can fall through certain walls if you hit them in a certain way.

One of the weirdest bugs I seen in a Mario game. I saw a variation of this bug in the famicom disk system version of SMB2 that wasn't underwater.

You watch this:

When I played this game the first time I can't believe the great number of glitches and bugs in these fuckin' game ,I get to thinking that what had programmed an idiot either. The glitches was very obvious, you could enter the walls, when you fought with a foe you only touch the air, this stupid videogame makes me crazy and angry, in order superman 64 is the mother of all glitches and bugs in the N64.

Ah yes, Superman 64.

It's one of those games that plays like an really early alpha, and you wonder if the developers abandoned the game after they programmed the basics. I remember recently finding a old preview of this game, where it was hyped up quite allot by it's developers.

Probably comes to surprise that the company behind the game went bankrupt in 2004, after 19 years of operation or so.

Oh yeah, I found that interview. "But I can tell you that the game is really original and really cool to play!".

No videos, but playing Half-Life 2 Ep 2, in that part where
Spoiler:
You're attacked by three hunters at that radio tower,

I managed to get hit and booted all the way out of the play area into the backdrop.

And then it autosaved.

While it isn't really hilarious..

Theres a sort of game breaking glitch in the new Banjo Kazooie game. When you're in town and you place a box on your trolley, then stand on the box and highlight your troller to pick up, you are able to fly anywhere in the city. You can skip half the challenges by doing this, and
Spoiler:
even get back to spiral mountain for the final boss at the begining of the game
.

The annoying thing about it is your game autosaves all the time, so I accidently did this and I've missed half the game..

The tutorial stage's sequence in Mirror's Edge can be broken in numerous different ways in both the demo and the full game. hell, even doing the wall-run in a specific manner (probably having to do with either distance or height, probably the height) can cause the tutorial to goof. there's quite a few videos on youtube JUST SHOWING HOW TO DO THIS.

(of course, the full game removes the point of this by allowing you to free-roam the tutorial stage after it's completion)

*stuff*

This so reminds me about how I use the physics gun in Garry's mod to propel myself into the sky. This actually works in a very similar way, expect that you have to launch yourself up through another object indirectly I guess.

Also Valve is really bad at enclosing their areas to make sure that people don't escape them on purpose or accidentally. You should see the amount of Team Fortress 2 related glitches where people get just outside the box playing area in TF2, or like in Left 4 Dead... where i got thrown to unusual places by a tank.

Everyone probubly knows this but.. In zelda oot, if you save at the final boss with ganon (after losing your sword) and quit when you load your game you won't have a sword equipped which can lead to MANY glitches. A cool one is that you can play your ocirina on epona and appear on the ground, then run around with link (and also control epona). There are LOTS of glitches for this game, just go to google and look up zelda oot glitches and you'll have hours of fun.

on both the n64 zelda games you can get the best weapon in the game just by getting a stick then jump off a cliff and hitting a stick of a wall it'll leave you with a small broken stick but it is more powerful than any other weapon in the game.

I don't think the stick is stronger than the Biggoron Sword using a front smash...
