Don't make two threads for the exact same thing.

Also, PS3's are overrated overpriced machines. It'll still be years before I grab one... IF I grab one. I've posted from my PSP though...

Now that I'm not using it, sorry about that. I didn't mean to make 2 threads but I had to refresh the page to see the first one and by that time I had made 2...Doesn't renew itself every time you click a link, I guess, if you've been to a page before. Efficiency, to be sure

Anyway, you can have mine of you want. Comes with 1 controller and Resistance: Fall of Man, plus some albums I copied onto it from their original CD's...You can have some of those too, if you're into metal

Metal is and always will be my favourite kind of music. Mostly for the guitar (I love the heavy crunch, or the machine gun progression scales, wild solo's, etc.), but the lyrics have always brought out questions in myself. You can guess why, but just to be clear here I talk about questions like "Why does god suck?" or "They oppressed us, follow satan yes?" or "God doesn't want the war, does he?" and shit like that. It's been very influential to start bringing myself to my own conclusions on those topics, and now I'm writing my own album in a band called "Shadow Soldiers of Sound".

Heh. I never thought you'd be into metal.

Well, I'm a guitarist. I like metal more than anything, but I've grown up with it most of my life. I wanted to play those crazy riffs, the solo's, all that. Unfortunately the best I got was a placement in a Choir (I can sing) when I was younger, for a few years or so, but at least I got to build on my voice a bit.

I'm just not an angry person. I love the music nonetheless.

Now, a choir I can imagine you being in.

I just listen to what sounds nice, metal or not.

Well since nobody else is really active to post on the original topic, check these out:

Warrel Dane - Brother

Nevermore - Born (The Retribution of Spiritual Sickness)

Now these songs both have the same singer, but they both differ somewhat. The lyrics in the first one are the most emphasized (Guitar is not so good, though still good and therefore not the focal point), and this is how I like my lyrics. Screaming and growling is fine, but the voice Warrel Dane possesses is amazing in ability.

The second, while the chorus has some nice vocal, is mostly a growl but the Guitar is not so pushed backwards in terms of technique and skill to play as the other one was. Plus the solo's kick ass

I dunno, take a listen to both
