OK. If I were to create a layout, how should I code the "Quote" and "Code" part?
I have the (Table) (TR) (TD) etc. down pat.... what I am going for is something like this:

Moving to H/S/B since it's more fitting there.

As for the quotes/code, you should use scoped CSS with !important. I'd give you a more detailed explanation but I want to go afk for a bit before it turns completely dark here.

heehee I was wondering where it went to...

I'm not much of a CSS person really, is there any way to do it with HTML or would I need to get someone else to code it for me?

That wouldnt really help, since it would just make a bg image that didnt scale with the post.

No, it would just make a big image, and make your post disappear.

avm's just being stupid.

You mind helping me out BH? I.E. telling me what to use as the name for my tags for the quote box... and the code box... lol if I can figure out what to name the tags I can code the whole thing myself.

The most basic approach would be putting your posts in a block wrapper (like a border- and margin/spacingless table or a DIV) belonging to a certain class ("<div class='rawr'>" in header, "</div>" in footer) and defining elements like blockquote as children of that class (".rawr blockquote { ... }") in the CSS. Compare Squash Monster's layout code, where squashlayout is the container's class.

The blockquote is the, normally, invisible layout element that causes quotes to be indented. The "visible part of the quotebox" is two HRs at its top and bottom. Look at the source to learn about it.

A "dark-light-dark" border as in three borders in something like a arrangement? The only trivial way I could think of would be wrapping three tables with a one-pixel border around it, or alternatively a single one with images of the border pieces. Nothing too trivial, anyway.

I suggest you read some garden variety CSS/HTML tutorial first.
