Simple question. Answer it.

Over the past couple of weeks I've been replaying F-Zero: Maximum Velocity for the GBA. My skills improved considerable, so I decided to unlock the Jet Vermilion (the "best" vehicle) the hard way. This involves beating all four series on Master class with all nine vehicles. On several instances I have simply turned the system in frustration. Some of the vehicles seem to be made out of paper, whilst others steer like steer. The AI seems to be less focused on winning and more focused on making me fly around like a pinball. Nevertheless, I've managed to complete this task with 8 of the 9 vehicles. I think I have all of the tracks burned onto my retina.

I just beat Yume Nikki (see free game sticky) two days ago - it was good, in the odd way -; also, I played Densetsu no Ogre Battle for a bit when Cirvante mentioned it, though I don't think I am going to keep going.

Also, I'm slowly making my way through the Japanese version of Terranigma/Tenchi Souzou, but I seem to only be playing it on the train anymore.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed I just recently finished. It is cool to watch Hitler's head explode in glorious 3D.

Ninja Gaiden Black I'm about halfway through. It's a good game. It's a good game.

Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl is awesome and I still play it with great frequency.

Soldat. I can't fucking stop. I'1ve been playing it for at least 2 hours every day.
On the PS2, KOF XI, DBZ Sparking Meteor. The later is still the second best fighting game I've played.
Then when I go to my friend's, Portal and Oblivion.

Kyouji Craw/Alastor the Stylish/Stark (am i missing any?) recommended An Untitled Story to me, and I've been slowly working my way through that. It's cool, and I really like a good exploration-based platformer like this, but it frequently gets on my nerves. The dude who made it also made the Jumper games, which I never got farther than a few levels in. He's managed to suppress his sadism for the most part in this game, but it still shows through in a lot of ways. For example, I don't share his enthusiasm of having a long, tedious, injurious platforming section between a save point and a boss (a boss which kills me in five hits from full health whose patterns and weak points have to be learned the hard way). He's stingy about save points in general, and there are a few areas I'm trying to progress in now that take a harmless but long bit of journeying to get to from a save point, which just causes extra bother when I suffer a few deaths exploring the area itself. Also, there's some shit that's just dumb, and hard for all the wrong reasons (rotating arrow bullshit that you only find out is optional after you spend a bunch of time learning patterns and get lucky enough to time all the jumps right in one go).

So yeah, the game is actually really annoying. Despite all that though, it's really interesting and cool. I just don't think most people would be willing enough to put up with all the extreme platforming bullshit to see all the neat stuff.

Been trying out several different Game Boy games recently. The ones that have best held my attention so far are Mario Gallery 3, Survival Kids, and Nemesis II (aka Gradius: Interstellar Assault).

As of late, Golden Sun. I finished the first game in a few days, then school started, and I've been working my way through the second game since then.
In the interest of examining my new computer's capabilities, I've also played a bit of Half Life 2.

I finally unlocked the Jet Vermilion in F-Zero MV. The thing has poor handling, but I found that to be a non-issue. It also has obscenely slow acceleration, but I've found that it practically decelerates at the same rate. After getting used to it, I managed to beat several of my old records by seconds. The only exceptions are the tracks that require very long jumps for shortcuts. The thing falls like a rock.

Next I'll attempt to finish this little game.

In the last 2 months, I've been playing Mega Man Ultra, Rockman No Constancy, Mega Man IV, Mega Man II, and Super Mario Bros. 2.

I'd like to start playing Castlevania though. I never really got into it.

I finished the game I linked to earlier (Hero). It was fairly fun, but I found level 5 to be a bit too big for its own good. Fortunately, the final boss was much easier than that level. I gave the bonus level a try, but after getting to the final room, I decided that it wasn't worth my time.

I've been playing: Perfect Dark, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Oblivion, and Warhawk.

One day, I hope to play a game similar to Kirby's Adventure, but Pokemon themed and Jigglypuff as the main fluffy puffy.
