crash warning
That becomes "opera:%" instead of "about:%" in, well, Opera.?

It looks pretty and the fact it has an incognito mode gave me a laugh, but I don't see myself transitioning to this browser any time soon.

Subtle (but more than likely will go unread) note to the GBADev forum guys. I don't know what you did to this text box, but it really buggers up in Google-chrome! I had to type all this in Notepad, then copy+paste it back!
I'm thinking it might be Chrome. There's nothing special about this textbox but the border.
Think about it.

The about:% crash is weird. Why the hell...?

Regardless of all typical early-version shortcomings, I must say this browser strikes me as rather sweet. The rendering and everything seems much faster, the interface is neat and clean and several points seem well thought through - like how opening links in a new tab opens them next to the current tab rather than way to the right (I missed that in Firefox) or you can resize textareas in forms (quite valuable in board2, seeing as its textareas often are inconveniently small for entering large posts). Judging from temporary files it generated during the installation, it seems to use OpenGL for rendering, which is rather interesting.

I think comparing a plugin-overloaded Firefox vs. Chrome with a 1970s Soviet Main Battle Tank vs. a modern urban-use microcar is quite fitting.

... Hmmmmm... a textbox with nothing but a simple 1-pixel CSS border "buggers up" in Chrome, which lets users resize any textarea element themselves... there's something rotten in the state of Denmark.

The JavaScript virtual machine was considered a sufficiently important project to be split off (like Adobe/Mozilla's Tamarin) and handled by a separate team in Denmark.

Coincidence?

Too bad the find feature is too simplistic. You can't choose whether to use case sensitive or insensitive or search for whole words (i.e.: search the word "rom" and not "promoted" or "rome").

I guess we have to be patient.

Somewhat ironic how Google's, out of all vendors, browser has the search function as a shortcoming...

How the hell do you do what other people do with headers and stuff?
It's great for downloading. It doesn't pump stuff onto your desktop like firefox does.
