People are always posting videos without demos :@. Do people even finish their hacks? Honestly! Where's the teamwork? Where's the comradery? I know games take a long time to finish, so why not ask for help? Or at least a taste. A fucking taste!

Probably because a demo would not be worth the trouble and/or would be not relevant enough. Remember, DiscoPeach, if you're not satisfied with this forum's content, you can always leave and check somewhere else...

That was pretty hostile. I am satisfied with this forum, that's why I make it a point to visit every day, to see what's new. I wasn't whining about it. More like a yell to let people know that their work is appreciated and that there are people anxiously waiting for the final product. I've been working on a big project that's been taking me many years to finish, so I'm not gonna throw stones in a glass house. But still, venting is not a bad thing. I'm not being a pissant about it. You should see all the guff Omega was getting for his Lazy Shell.

I stopped reading the posts because they were getting moronic. If any of you actually took the time ot review his video, I missed it, and I'm having to put up with my sister as it is, that's bad enough.

At any rate, it looks like it has promise. Defintely you'll want to fix the perspective issue, but apart from that just keep going and remember that the engine is a platformer, not a top-down rpg game. Good luck!

Let's be honest here, most of the problems users have with one another comes because they take one another too seriously. He's another average board member with opinions of his own. They're just as valid and important as anyone else's, but it's the internet so you aren't obligated to listen to them.

For so far there is no storyline yet, nor a name, for now, I only have made a video for all of you.

As for the video, I'm with Kawa on this. It's far to early to show us progress when all you have are some exgfx.

Looks confusing....

Mainly because the background is non-existent.

You already have some competition:

Though if it pushes you to work harder I suppose it's a good thing.
Sorry for the bump, but when I saw this video, I just had to comment. Perhaps the most interesting SMW hack, in my opinion. I think its awesome. Reminds me of a better Zelda II. And, this is my first post in this forum!
