People are always posting videos without demos :@. Do people even finish their hacks? Honestly! Where's the teamwork? Where's the comradery? I know games take a long time to finish, so why not ask for help? Or at least a taste. A fucking taste! ____________________ MathOnNapkins' Zelda 3 (ALttP) Hacking Forum on Arc-Nova: http://arc-nova.org/forum/index.php?board=7.0 |

Probably because a demo would not be worth the trouble and/or would be not relevant enough. Remember, DiscoPeach, if you're not satisfied with this forum's content, you can always leave and check somewhere else... |

That was pretty hostile. I am satisfied with this forum, that's why I make it a point to visit every day, to see what's new. I wasn't whining about it. More like a yell to let people know that their work is appreciated and that there are people anxiously waiting for the final product. I've been working on a big project that's been taking me many years to finish, so I'm not gonna throw stones in a glass house. But still, venting is not a bad thing. I'm not being a pissant about it. You should see all the guff Omega was getting for his Lazy Shell. ____________________ MathOnNapkins' Zelda 3 (ALttP) Hacking Forum on Arc-Nova: http://arc-nova.org/forum/index.php?board=7.0 |

I stopped reading the posts because they were getting moronic. If any of you actually took the time ot review his video, I missed it, and I'm having to put up with my sister as it is, that's bad enough.
At any rate, it looks like it has promise. Defintely you'll want to fix the perspective issue, but apart from that just keep going and remember that the engine is a platformer, not a top-down rpg game. Good luck! |

Looks confusing....
Mainly because the background is non-existent. |

Posted by XerussSorry for the bump, but when I saw this video, I just had to comment. Perhaps the most interesting SMW hack, in my opinion. I think its awesome. Reminds me of a better Zelda II. And, this is my first post in this forum! ____________________ My YouTube Channel |
