I was wondering; do any of these exist?

I remember playing this game as a kid and never being able to beat it. It was the best .

For those who don't remember it...

So, do any Sunset Riders Rom Hacks exist? I highly doubt it though; the game wasn't very popular.

Never seen that game before, but it reminds me Gun Smoke on the SNES...

Yeah, well like I said, it wasn't that popular.

But it was a blast to play.

And for those who don't know, it was on the SNES

Why do people keep posting topics about whether hacks of a game exist or not, go to google, if you get no results then probably not, check other sites that host rom hack patches, if not then why not try to find the data yourself and make a hack.

I have played this game and I always ended up dieing before I could complete it and run out of continues.

Because Google doesn't hold the answers to every question.

And, why do people always post reply's telling people to go to Google?

Use some common sense. If you have to show people a video of a game just so they can remember it, chances are there's no hacks of it. Even some much more popular games have no hacks yet (Harvest Moon, for example). I've played a lot of SNES games, but have never even seen footage of this game, let alone played it. Chances are few people have either.

If you can't find anything about a Sunset Riders hack in the first 5 pages of google, it's really doubtful you're going to find much of anything elsewhere. Romhacking.net would be the next place I'd try, and see that there are none. And then I wouldn't make a thread about it b/c it would be pretty obvious none exist.

I have the game for both SNES and arcade. There's also a Genesis version, I think, and it's a bit different from the SNES one.

Just because Google can't help doesn't mean there aren't any hacks for the game. There are foreign hacking communities and searching those via Google isn't the easiest thing in the world. The Japanese hackers do a lot of crazy stuff with various games, but most non-Japanese know nothing about those hacks unless someone stumbles across a gem and waves it around for everyone to see. Google is a useful tool, but at the same time, people shouldn't be berated for asking a question that could may (or may not) be answered just by using Google.

I'd guess, though, that there are no hacks for this game. It's not that mainstream and there are many other, more big-name games for the SNES that have not been hacked. Chances are they're higher priority for most hackers out there. Hacking SNES games is substantially more difficult than NES games much because the tools for it aren't as great as FCEUXD.

It's not flaming - you're just over-sensitive. By your definitions I've been flamed many times. By my own definition, people are just passing along their own opinions and ideas in their own ways. If I miss something obvious or overlook something that should be apparent, I'd like to be told without five pages of 'no offense' fluff.
The fact is, people's intelligence is better respected (and expected) here. You can't expect people to sugar-coat the obvious, cause if they do, you're not learning and we're not helping.
