It's something I've been thinking about for a few minutes now — could a Death Note kill Wolverine? Then Cirvante asked if it could kill Batman. I say yes because Batman doesn't have any healing factor or whatever. All you'd need is the knowledge that he's Bruce Wayne.

Mask or not, it's still basically the same person, and as I saw today, you don't need full eye contact to see the name. I stand by the eyes argument.
