What is Vizzed Flash Bash?
Vizzed Flash Bash is a free flash game that I have created/directed that's been in development for over 6 months now and is "sorta" a 'Super Smash Bros' clone/remake in Flash except based on the 16 bit gaming era. The graphics are 2D and directly based on the classic retro games from the early 90's. So the characters you play as will function almost identical to how they were in their original games, and the levels, music and sounds are based entirely on the original games. When the game is finished, it'll support 4 players to play online together (in their browser window) and the game will also record all stats, wins, losses, etc. Here is the current demo of the game at 48% completion (demo of game at 50% completion will be available in about a week) http://www.vizzed.com/VizzedBoardFiles/vizzedflashbash/FlashBash_Offline/FlashBash_0.9.5.html (still some bugs and small things that need to be fixed) Click an image to view full size     
Due to running out of money to pay the developers to continue their coding, game will be put on hold until I can round up enough money thru donations to continue the project. Current Characters - Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Tails, Mega Man and Wolverine Current Levels - 2 from Super Mario World (world 1 and castle), 2 from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (green hill and casino night), 1 from Mega Man (final boss, dr wiley), 1 from X-Men (centinel level) Future Characters - Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Charizard, Snake, Master Chief, Darth Vader, Bomberman, Bonk and characters from various games including Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, X-Men, etc... As the game progresses (and upon request), more levels and characters will be added List of current and future features -Up to 4 people play online in real time -Ability to chat while playing online with others -All scores, stats, wins and losses recorded to a profile -Battle mode -Sudden Death -Adventure mode (future feature) -Coin Race -Ability to adjust all options many many more not listed Any questions, comments or feedback, please reply in either this thread Official page regarding the game is located here |

Not exactly money grabbing, just opening the door for donations if anyone is willing to help out, other ways of helping out could include help coding the game, making it online multiplayer, etc.
How exactly is it bad advertising my own game? |

Grey Mario is sort of right. It is basically advertising, especially since it's your first post, but since it's for an actual game, eh... though the whole asking for money part doesn't help (considering it's your first post, it seems like you registered just to advertise your game). Posted by NightKev Well first, I didn't register just to advertise, I've been part of the acmlm board community for many years, I just haven't posted yet on this new board (but have had an account for a while now). I own vizzed board which is an acmlm board that I've had for about 5 years now (3 with the new one). But I see your point, I will remove that advertising stuff from my post. |

Posted by blackhole89 I couldn't find anyone willing to do the entire thing. At this point though, maybe I'll try and search for a few people willing to complete the game for free. The real challenge will be giving it online multiplayer functionality using smartfox server pro (which I've already got installed on my server). Anyways, if anyone knows someone who might be interested in working on this project for free, please let me know, could use any bit of help. |

It's got potential to be a great clone for Super Smash Bros., but the game a bit slow and choppy on my PC.
