I think I have something called FFVII Ultima Edition. What does that mean?

Or not. I DID have it before. I copied the savefiles from it to the new one which is Just called Final Fantasy VII.

If you're playing the PC Ultima Edition, then you were playing a pirated version with some tweaks to make it run a little better on newer machines. Generally it's a better idea to go with the official version of the game (even if you pirate it) and then add in the tweaks yourself, not to mention you have a better chance at adding in/getting support for other various mods for it, like the Hi-Res patch, a patch for a windowed mode, better map models etc.

I do remember some big green square net over the screen when I was at certain areas in-game. That vanished, however. And I don't remember or know how to tweak it properly.

Ruby Weapon is fucking impossible. I tried one last time in 2003 and I still couldn't beat it. (I wasn't using the ridiculous materia combo though, that gets boring)
The underwater weapon takes ages to kill.
The Enemy Skill shouldn't be so useless, it has a kickass concept.
Coolest Gold Saucer games: Sub > Bike > Snowboard
Having Sephiroth on the party owns
FF7 lacks junction!!

I seriously doubt Emerald Weapon takes forever to beat, and Enemy Skill is totally not useless (White Wind ftw)

I don't remember White Wind. The ones I can remember are
L5 death
L9 death or something
Aqualung
The missile one

That's it. D:

Let's see, the only ones I ever used were Magic Breath, Trine, Aqualung, White Wind, Big Guard, and the occasional Bad Breath (those damned Malboros used Bad Breath. I hated it.) to experiment with morphing.

Hm. I missed Neo Bahamut on on that windy...something. Would it be cheating to use a code or something to just get that summon so I can get Bahamut ZERO?

You also learn Shadow Flare and Pandora's Box through the enemy skill materia, which are incredibly bad ass attacks. I generally use them a lot after I learn it.

I've never seen Pandora's Box.

I probably never want to see it. I think I'm still at level 50 or so.

Pandora's Box. That's from a boss, right? But I don't remember which one. You only have 1 chance to learn it during that battle.

Actually, I recall reading that an ordinary monster can use Pandora's Box, but the box can only be opened once - if it's used, you'll only ever see it again if you use it.

Enemy skill was a handy thing, especially white wind and trine, since those two attacks are powerful (healing wise with white wind) even if you are low leveled.
