Alex says (11:06 PM):
jsut to be sure, theres no ghali final right?
Stark says (1:22 AM):
Right.
Stark says (1:23 AM):
(Just got back from The Dark Knight)
Alex says (1:23 AM):
ah i see
Alex says (1:23 AM):
how was it
Stark says (1:23 AM):
Terrible!
Stark says (1:23 AM):
I was entertained for the first fourty minutes.
Stark says (1:23 AM):
Too bad that's about a quarter of its running length! Ohoho!
Stark says (1:24 AM):
I didn't like the shakeycam in the original... But man, it was just distracting here. And they used it for the fights Batman wasn't even in.
Alex says (1:24 AM):
lol
Stark says (1:24 AM):
Two Face was not a believable villain (though he did have good special effects to him)
Stark says (1:25 AM):
Joker got a bunch of great lines at the beginning but it really petered off and he wasn't entertaining at all
Stark says (1:25 AM):
Really, the movie would have been vastly improved if, literally, they did nothing but cut off the last half hour
Alex says (1:25 AM):
lol i see
Stark says (1:25 AM):
Like, no extra exposition wrapping everything up
Stark says (1:25 AM):
No different ending
Stark says (1:26 AM):
Just lopping off the ending 20% of the film would have made it better
Stark says (1:26 AM):
Because it had a definite point it could have closed on
Stark says (1:26 AM):
They merely continued after that.
Alex says (1:26 AM):
kinda like the third spiderman movie whre they kinda lost focus?
Stark says (1:27 AM):
It wasn't actually a bad movie, I just didn't like it. Not like Spiderman III, which was clearly an awful movie.
Stark says (1:27 AM):
Also I didn't see Spiderman III. Because it sucked, right?
Alex says (1:27 AM):
i see
Alex says (1:27 AM):
it wasn't terrible
Alex says (1:27 AM):
they really should have done a sandman movie and a venom movie
Stark says (1:27 AM):
Do you think I should go see it?
Stark says (1:27 AM):
Like, the two villains worked really well
Stark says (1:27 AM):
It's just
Stark says (1:28 AM):
It failed to actually be entertaining
Stark says (1:28 AM):
For awhile, I was just waiting for it to end
Stark says (1:28 AM):
And I do that a lot in movies
Stark says (1:28 AM):
And it's never a good thing

I thought the plot to Iron Man seemed a bit forced personally...

And... And it wasn't in The Dark Knight? After building up Harvey Dent as such a great guy, his persona as two-face was absolutely unbelievable. Should have ended right at the cut where he had the gun pointed at Joker and he flipped the coin. We should have just heard a gunshot, and then bam, CREDITS ROLL, Two Face gets to be the villain in the next one, they get time to set him up, instead of "Crap, we need to randomly pack in more time! Let's throw in the villain we've been setting up, but we'll throw him in in the least fucking logical way possible, destroying all his character development! Sure! WE'LL MAKE MILLIONS"

Not to mention the goddamn sonar. "Here is a cool mapping device. Surprise! IT'S SECRETLY IN EVERY PHONE LOLOLOLOLOLOL just in time to save the day guys" what the fuck these people do not know what suspension of disbelief is

I really, really wanted to like the movie! But then that last hour of the movie happened, and it was shit. So instead, I didn't like the movie. Because it was shit.

I, too, was disappointed with the unrealistic technology in a Batman movie

Like it's based on a realistic comic to begin with, huh?

Batman has always been a bit more realistic than other comics because he doesn't have insane super powers... Otherwise though, it's just a comic...

No insane super powers indeed. Remember that scene in Batman Begins where he drops out of bed and does pushups? I can't imagine a certain last son of Krypton doing that

Adam West on the other hand had a utility belt with an insane super power. Does that count?

Hell, what does it even matter when you have a full rogues gallery full of super-powered characters?

Well, I watched this movie last night, and I must say - it's way overrated I didn't care about a single character in the entire movie. By the time it had finished, I really wouldn't have cared weather or not the joker won. I have no idea how this got a 9.2 on imbd.

Eh, it's as realistic as the Bond movies. Bond got no super powers either. But he has in-built weapons in his vehicles and stuff. Like Batman does too.

The Dark Knight was Ok. It was better than any other of the movies these days. Usually movies these days get maybe around a 5-7 star rating in IMDB. The Dark Knight is around the 9's. Personally I think IMDb users are giving it too much of a rating
