nightkev: Why do you post when you have nothing to say?
And now for the content portion of this post. Yup, I'm posting for more than just increasing a meaningless statistic. With the examiner's logic I'm wondering how he held is job long enough to be remarked as 'senior'.
I suppose a little bit of deeply disturbed furry fan fiction would be OK in his book. Aslong as it gets some meaning across.... |

I don't think it would have been fair to just give the kid a 0. And a 2 is a failing mark anyway, so there was no real reason for him to be reprimanded like this. At least there were words on the paper, and they were spelt correctly. No matter how you look at this, the kid should have had at least 1 mark anyway by generally accepted marking standards. |

Wow ... AQA really are desperate. Those British examination papers are just desperate for students to get more marks, they'll do anything.
Such a shame I'm British, and I had 5 AQA exam papers. Good thing though... all mathematics so it's not really based on 'content' but more or less 'right or wrong' but I'd probably get marks if the question was "What is the total distance travelled by light after 5 hours"? And I answered "Fuck (miles)" |

You could always say he was trying to make some deep psychological statement in those two words. ____________________ hax.iimarck.us |

Clearly, he deserved 2 marks. One for proper spelling and grammar, one for FIGHTING THE SYSTEM.
(Unfortunately, he was deducted the other 25 because "fuck off" didn't answer the question he was asked.) Honestly, this isn't news. I think US AP exams can give you 1 point (out of 5 or 10, I don't remember so well) for irrelevant answers, and that's... significantly bigger than the 2 out of 27 the kid got. I mean, he still failed on the question, yes? |
