Yea, if I went to school.
Or went to a school that offered AP. Or was in the really really really REALLY upper upper middle class, sure. As it stands, two jobs give me enough headaches against...autocars. |

It's all about studying, and avoiding paying money in college. |

Ultimately, I suppose that I'd be learning more in a college class, but who am I to judge?
As for AP classes I've taken -English Language (4) -Chemistry (3) (I blame the confusing free-response structure for my lack of 4-5) I'd take the U.S. History, Comparative Government, and Statistics AP tests, but I've already taken the courses at college. |

Forget AP, I just did Highschool in 2 years instead of 4 and went for Junior College. I get my scholarship, and likely will get one to the next place I go to too... heh heh heh.
Highschool seems best skipped or done quickly. You can do so much more in Junior College. |

What's junior college? And don't you mean, "I got my scholarship"? |

Don't be a pussy. Take the BC Calculus exam. It's not just about not paying for college, it's proving how much you kick ass.
The lowest score I got was a 2 out of all the ones I took, and that was French Language (not lit) AP. Man that test was a BITCH. I mean a BITCH. Four years ago I got: English Composition: 5 Chemistry: 4 French Lang.: 2 BC Calculus: 5 I don't think I took any others. I could have taken AP US History b/c i was in the class, but I didn't see the point of taking the test. Not an interesting subject to me, and I don't think it would have earned me any credit anyways. Chemistry and Calculus BC netted me 8 credit hours each for my scores. It was a sweet deal . ____________________ Zelda Hacking Forum hobbies: delectatio morosa |

I took the AP Java exam but never ot anything from it, I didn't even get the results back. My school sucked, there were only like 3 available AP tests total. |

Posted by Collegeboard BC Criteria that I haven't covered in class It looks like a big difference from AB, and with about two months, and 6 other AP classes, I don't think that it would be a good idea. Unless of course, it's not such a big difference, and doesn't take nearly as long as it looks. |

The BC boils down to this...
most of the additional material is on series and convergence of series. L'hopital's rule is something I'd think you would have already covered anyway. Euler's method must have been added in the time since I took the test. But it's not extremely hard to understand anyway. I would say the hardest part of BC is figuring out how to find an interval or radius of convergence. The other stuff is relatively simple. Velocity? 1st Derivative. Acceleration? 2nd Derivative. (of a paremetric curve anyway). The more obscure material is on curvature and stuff in 3 dimensions but it boils down to memorizing formulas. ____________________ Zelda Hacking Forum hobbies: delectatio morosa |

Posted by MathOnNapkins Yeah, I covered L'Hostpital's rule. Really, how bad is learning series stuffs, timewise? |
