Okay, I made some sushi recently (like, tonight) so I'm going to post the end results of my asian adventure.

I used the instructions from this site and it turned out pretty good. Here is a picture of the food. California rolls, so what. It's the best I've ever had to date, so that's what counts.

As far as preparation goes, I only used a fraction of the vinegar, salt, and sugar mentioned in the recipe on that site. All the supplies needed to make the rolls I got at Fry's, except for the Makisudare. Anyways, enjoy!

What's next for me, Korean food?

Agreed, California rolls are the best.

Also, skip the Dog Food and see if you can stomach Thailand's Anchovie Oatmeal.

You would actually eat that?
I think it's more than likely a filler for dishes that require fish.

California rolls are good

I still like Tamago (egg) Sushi best, though.

Well, I just need to grab the supplies for the other kinds of maki out there. I'm sure I can make it, I just need to do it.

Any suggestions on what I should try next?

If I was turning into a said nationality because of the food I eat, I probably would be partly American, Partly Italian and partly Mexican.

...I'm one of those few freaks who really can't stand rice. :/

Good job. I should make sushi some day.

Oh, for the record, California Rolls is NOT sushi... wiki says it is sushi

I was really debating calling it sushi myself, but that's what my mindset is. With what I had on hand and what little money I had in my pocket, California Rolls are what ended up existing. They didn't exist for very long though.

I'll update when I undergo another sushi adventure.

My personal favorite is the Philly Roll (and just about anything with Salmon in it).

I often like to buy those little packages of sushi at the grocery store. You know, the ones over at the deli? They're like 7 bucks per package, but you get a lot of them and they taste great!

...

...Oh suck, now I'm in the mood for them now...

*KP9000 goes to buy some sushi

...Come to think of it, it might be the only Asian product not made in Asia.
