Posted by Grey MarioDitto. If I wanted to play music, I'd go out and buy an instrument and practice. Since when did the game industry stop being the game industry, and turned to these stupid music games, like Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and SingStar Pop. To me, its just another way of saying, we can't think of anymore original game ideas, so lets just make musical games. The same thing with the Wii. We can't come up with good games anymore, so lets try to do something cool with the controller, and make games based off of that. You don't play real instruments for points, and they certainly don't sound as great on their own. A lot of people have taken the same stance as they did with Guitar Hero, "It's not a real guitar, you suck and think you are cool". A lot of the time, those people are neither good at Guitar Hero, or actually proficient in playing any instrument. If someone tells you to stop playing, it's likely because they've gone with the crowd, or just can't afford the game. |
