Yes, it's real. He doesn't do a whole lot, though. Just kinda sits there, growls, and when you shoot its mouth with a missile, stops taking damage or affecting the environment in any way.

Unfortunately, the only video I see of it on Youtube is this one, and it's not the best...

Ooh, I was just wondering- Have you been able to enable the Item Toggle ability yet? I recently found out that its code is still left in Metroid: Zero Mission, and that it CAN be enabled- But only with a Codebreaker code. Here's that code, if anyone's wondering:

Code 1: 730016C4 0080
Code 2: 83000BF0 0006

Both of these are seperate codes. With both enabled, you can toggle items, but... Only certain ones. Namely, only the beams and the Misc. Items. You can't even toggle the Unknown Items until you get the Fully-Powered Suit. And no, you can't toggle Gravity Suit. Though, on a related video to that last Crocomire vid posted here, I noticed someone had all three REVEALED unknown items turned off (Even Gravity Suit), and toggled it ON. The whole "you can only toggle certain items" thing may simply be a limitation of this code, and it was probably intended to let you toggle ANY item! ...Also, even though you can't toggle the two Bombs on and off, toggling the Morph Ball off turns them off, too. Missiles? Nope, can't turn those off. But hey, this code could help get us closer to truly enabling this feature, right? As in, without using cheat codes.

Also they aren't really 2 separate codes, as the 1st one's an "if" code

Code 1: 730016C4 if the value at the memory address 30016C4 (which menu screen you're on) is 0080 (the value for the equipment screen) then activate Code 2

Code 2: 83000BF0 make the value at 3000BF0 (which menu) 0006 (the value for the debug menu)

I don't really think these would help much in hacking the ROM as cheat codes modify RAM, and since you're using a cheat code it would also be quite hard to use the disassembler

3 days cant pass fast enough, i am dying to try out the new version.

edit: been playing around with ZF a little and ive been able to place items like missles, super missles, energy tanks and power bomb upgrades, but when it comes to placing upgrades like the screw attack or morphball i havent seen even the vaguest hint as to where their clipdata is.

anyone have a clue what im doing wrong/point me in the right direction?
