I don't know it is a gift or a curse, but recently I had just upgraded my computer's cpu to a celeron E1200 (NEW) and I had over clocked it to about 2.14ghz at 1066mhz fsb.
My computer has become a LOT more faster than with my celeron d cpu.
The only problem I have is with the psxeven 0.19.
It had my origninal configurations from my old cpu's setup, I just now ran mega man x5 and the emulator just went through intro setup and beginning game play like a freakin hurricane with hail.
I am using p.e.o.p's graphic driver 1.75 to keep it somewhat undercontrol but it still like's to speed up whenever it wants to.

When any of you all started with a dual cpu in your systems did you get the same problem I am having ?

please look at my layout for my system spec's to give you a better understanding of my pc.
Last it's been about 6 to 8 months since I last touched my psx emulator so pretty much this has me a little bit confused.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but use a different emulator. PCSX and ePSX are both excellent emulators for the Playstation, and I've never had speed problems with them.

By the way, nice specs man.

Thanks Xeruss for the comment
Anyhow, I found out what the problem was peop's 1.9 sound plugin was the main source of the major speed up problem, I used a different driver other than pete's sound plugin and now the video and sound are in synce and do not speed up to the point where it sound's like alvin and the chipmunks are in drugs.

Appreciate the help, if now I can figure out why my FF7 PC game won't load up properly and lock up I would be a happy man.
