So, school has been out for about a week here, and I've already found some temporary work. Over the course of the next week I should make roughly $220. (I don't need to save it, because I will get a job later in the summer). Only one question remains, what should I do with my windfall?

I have plenty in my bank account, enough currently in my hands, and an upcoming minimum wage job (yeah Oregon, highest minimum wage! ) sometime in July.

Buy me a nitrous oxide dispenser. I've got 24 canisters of the stuff and no way of putting it into balloons.

NO ADVERTISING

We can't really have people begging to donate to other forums, seriously. :/

...and it was also so way offtopic too.

Yeah. Lyner you're a pretty cool guy, but, no-one here is going to donate to help another forum. It's hard keeping this place afloat at times anyway.

Balloons? I thought you were more creative than that...
And I have considered donating to this site before, if I were able to find an efficient way to do so, it might be something I'd follow through on...

Invest it in oil futures.

Oil will be worthless soon. After it tops $10, nobody will drive anymore.
We'll either adapt and use more public transportation, everyone will ride bikes, or there will be some new form of transportation that relies solely on alternative fuels. Nobody will pay $10 for a gallon of gas unless their car gets upwards of 150mpg. Oil is not the way to go.

(Also, neither is corn-oil-ethanol. It's more destructive to car mechanisms and much more inefficient than was originally thought.)

We'll, that and I was sort of just expecting to use the cash on consumer goods rather than hold onto it or invest it. That's why I called it a windfall.

Society has too much inertia to switch to another source of energy in conceivable time. Most likely, they'll just resort to some method of creating compatible fuels from biomass, coal or whatever else might be available, which will still certainly result in oil being more expensive than it is today, thus making it a worthy deal (assuming you can get hold of the means of storing it for a cheap enough rent or maintenance price so as to not nullify the effects of the rising prices).

Actually, I'm having a better time squandering it on consumable items. I spent a small chunk on Mountain Dew, DVD-Rs, and replacement mechanical-pencil erasers.

My parents have said they have the intention of getting a Wii sometime soon ... So ideally I'll be playing you all at SSBB sometime this Summer, and enjoying twilight princess...
