So I was just wondering, what's the strangest music that you listen too (and enjoy). You know, that one CD nobody else can stand, but for whatever reason you can't seem to get enough of?

For me, it's P.O.D's CD Payable on Death.
It had minimal ratings in comparison with their other works, lacks variety in the sound, and for whatever reason, is incredibly compelling for me.

Hmm. I think it would be, perhaps, Aqua. The band responsible for this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zEzh10_xoqw

Ah, I remember back when the Danish group Aqua was popular here.

Quite awhile ago.

Barbie girl was a controversial video too. XD Mattel sued the band, but I forgot how it ended.

Surprisingly, I seen quite a few music videos that seems to have originated from Asien.

As I recall, the original version didn't have those subtitles. xD

The BEST strange group I've listened to recently is Orphaned Land. Right outta Tel Aviv.

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=VJI8fmxfaBE <-- First and best track on their newest album, Mabool (The Flood, in Hebrew).

I mean I'm an immense fan of the musical styling of Daler Mehndi. that's probably considered strange.

Chiptunes. Seriously, I don't listen to them except in private any more.

Are you embarrassed by them? Chiptunes are the single greatest invention of the computer age.

I happen to have a friend who shares my chiptune/VGM enthusiasm, and the rest of my school class was assimilated through repeated playback during breaks.

For "odd" as in "I wouldn't admit to it in public", there's a certain amount of J-Pop/Anime theme songs for me. Those more often than not get one associated with a kind of people one would not like to be associated with.

I need to find some real people who like chiptunes too... But seriously, they are the best. I'm naming my first child Chip Tuna in their honor.

Well, I've just found a new reggae-esque band called Iration. While it's not the most unique music, or even terribly odd, I have to say I'm very fond of what I hear.
Heck, No Time for Rest might be the first CD I'll have purchased in years.

For some reason I'm starting to like happy-hardcore. DJ Trixxy and Airhead have some pretty nice songs.
