Does anyone know about speed/timing disabling hacking for genesis roms? im trying to get soldiers of fortune to run in gens correctly without graphical glitches on the screen, this is an issue that goes back to the emu, not the rom but the game uses vdp latency (fifo accurate timing) and i was thinking maybe i could try hacking the rom with a hexeditor to disable or hack the timing and see what happens.
if anyone has any info that might help, please let me know. I know i could use another emu easy to solve this problem, but i want it on gens. I have posted this question other places but i thought i would enquire here as well. thanks!

ok found something that might help, but is there a way to hex edit a rom so the emu will skip some vram cycles?
this crap is hard! any help will be appreciated. XTTX- |
