I've slowed down quite a bit; don't watch much and buy less, and then generally only if it's on sale.

I do own a fair number of DVDs, but nothing huge. I've got, er...

Nine of twelve Aura Battler Dunbine DVDs
Both DVDs of Zeorymer
A couple of RahXephon volumes
All of Shin (Change!!) Getter Robo (AKA Getter Robo Armageddon)
All of Dai-Guard
Half of Gundam 0080
All of Giant Robo (noticing a pattern yet?)

For my non robot stuff, I've got Goemon ($3 per DVD, but it's kinda dumb)
Read or Die OVA
The Shinesman
Spirited Away
Haunted Junction

Of these, Spirited Away and Shin (Change!!) are my favorites. The former 'cuz it's just a beautiful story, but the latter 'cuz they chop planets in half with a moon-sized Getter Tomahawk. Seriously, the action can't be beat. Need to finish Dunbine one of these days; it got really good then I ran out of DVDs

The problem with kids today(in America, at least) is that they can't appreciate the classics. Part of the reason why it's so hard to find a decent Hokuto no Ken or City Hunter fansite that isn't in Italian or French. Lupin, Harlock, and Kenshiro are Gods there. And rightfully so.

DVD collection:

Many other anime titles on CDs and VHS... And a buttload of manga lying around.

I have to give you props on your collection there, Sgraff. I recognize a lot of those titles as ones that aired on Sci Fi Channel back in the day.

Yeah quite frankly I am more interested in the golden era of anime back in the 80's and early 90's. Akira and Vampire Hunter D were my first anime.

Also telling by your avatar you have good taste.

Yes, Fist of the leaky faucet is one of my favorites as well. My online alias on many games is Kenshiro. I don't know if you know about the series already, but if you like Hokuto no Ken, you should certainly check out JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. There are 6 arcs(not including steel ball run) with protagonists named JoJo (Joseph Joestar, Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna, and Jolyne Kujo). Of those, the third and the first have anime adaptations. They are currently making a movie of the first arc. The manga of the third arc is currently the only one published in America.

Actually I tried to watch the OVA of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure a few years back but had trouble getting into it. Perhaps I will give it another try.

One should note that, with few exceptions (Elfen Lied, Escaflowne, Steamboy, and the Negima manga, all of which were given to me by a friend and are still on the DVD-Rs), all of the "Have" list is currently on my computer. So is most of the anime "Own" list that I haven't bothered to delete after actually purchasing the stuff (Dual, Tenchi OVAs 1, 2, and most of 3, and Tenchi movies 1 and 3).

how do i bought 750 gb hard driev ¯\(º_o)/¯

It's even more sad because you spelled anime with an u.... The letters aren't even close by each other!
