	I actually haven't ditched 50% of my posts (exaggeration. Whatever), unlike at the old board. I don't think I even got past 300 posts.... checks ... 369 posts. My first post here was 155 days past my last post at the last board. I've already reached 10% of the posts I had on the oldboard (okay, so I'm 65 off), but really...

It's just more fun here, I don't care about banning anyone (unless they really, really deserve it) and don't have to make everyone fear having their threads closed for some obscure reason.

By the way, stop trying to lump everything into one big topic. Seperate topics is a good thing sometimes.

That's how I run my board. Usually the idiots end up weeding themselves out, and don't stay for more than a month. Staff move things and stop the real rule-breakers, but letting the community just be a community is a pretty good thing.

Then again, my message board isn't this active, but it's lasted for awhile..

Heh... it's funny, though... I was on for about 1.5 weeks on the last board before the fall. I accumulated 7 posts total, there. With this post, I've hit 1914% my total from the other board. Absurd? No, I'm just a little more active around here.

This must be the most productive thread about increasing one's post count I've ever seen. There is a significantly insignificant amount of spam in this thread. Or so it would seem, it might just be the legitimacy generated by the governing agents that makes it seem so.

Mostly because people actually feel like expressing interesting opinions and discussions regarding the different environment between "here" and "what used to be there".

Katelyn, how high did you get at DS? I thought I saw you above 4000 there...

My highest was...I wanna say 6273. A lot of those were in word association type threads though. I used to love word associations but now they bore me to tears after a while, just the same old crap repeated a kabajillion times.

Although one fun postcount++ thread was "3 1/2 word story". It's like 3 word story, 5 word story, etc. but you post three words and then half a word and the next person completes the half word and posts three more words, ad infinitum. It was fun seeing how someone can twist a word. One post I remember ended with "eating birthday ca-" and you would expect it to be completed "ke", right? Well, someone put in "ndles".
