Borders by sea, a large forest, and a large desert to the southeast. A popular tourist destination, its military strength is little-shown and well-hidden. As nations began to strengthen borders, Alernica also did, moving Heavy Tank squadrons and submarine forces into the areas around it's borders. Alernica then contacted The Marquistan Colonies, asking for an alliance: they're a small country, but would serve as an effect Early Warning System. Alernica then contacts đất Thánh for another Alliance treaty. |

So uh, does remnic get put before me in the turn order now? Doesn't make a difference now it's started, I just wondered.
Also: Sukasa, you're playing, right? Cos if you are it'd make sense to do the GM turn and your turn in the same post. I don't know if you did that this time, I forgot most of the contents of that post.

I claim that small patch of land underneath the bigass tower with the large lake in it as "The City-State of Peace, Love, Prosperity, and Continuity", a completely neutral territory. However, we won't actively participate in the game because I am lazy and we are specifically devoted to the ways of peace. As of such, research is going into an almost impenetrable shield which shall be done in about five or so turns, and fully activated in ten. Thus, we shall develop this until that time, although if widespread war or an act of war is committed against us, we will counter attack. We have the 'Super Lazer X2" which is pretty powerful, and some hidden AWESOME SPACE WEAPONS that we can launch, and of course zomg magick sages. Our government is that type of thing where people form committees and fight over the price of corn in courtrooms. We're that bored. Oh, and while we are neutral territory, we are willing to sign alliances. Yep.
It's 1am, so this probably isn't very clear, but yeah. Oh, and I claim reddish-orange, because I've been staring at Launch Base zone all night. ____________________ Love your lawn. |

I take this country, seeing none else took it. Also repost: 
Name: The feline land of Ailuroland Population: 6.815 billion~ Goverment form: Parliamentary democracy Economy: Ailuroland's economy is fairly healthy with a mix of private and public sectors. The education, mass-transit and healthcare system is public and funded by the government. Scientific research is mostly done through the public sector, even if research in the private sector isn't unheard of. Patents have harsh restrictions, and only lasts for a very short time. Being a very information based society, copyrights only lasts for ten years. Description: Focuses on Education, Technology and welfare. Is mainly a atheistic country. It have a well-educated population with a small rich-poor gap. There's not many rich people, nor many poor people. Technology is mostly focused within IT, nanotechnology and biotechnology. Thanks to advances within bio-engineering, the average life expectancy is over 100 years and most registered deaths are due to non-natural causes. Said nation have expanded into space, and have a moon base and a space station. Both are used for peaceful scientific purposes. Military: Have a relatively small army, but the nation have a few hydrogen bombs as a deterrent. There's been rumors of powerful weaponry, some horrible and potentially immoral... other just plain quirky. Recent actions: Due to the potential conflicts in the world, the government of Ailuroland have decided to increase the funding to it's military. The government have a neutral stance towards upcoming wars for now, but makes a statement that anyone attacked without warning form another country will get some form of help and will get involved if necessary. While the nation have developed civil defense, the government have decided to increase the amount of funding towards shelters, protecting against nuclear, chemical and biological super weapons. Instructional videos on what to do is shown at Public schools and workplaces and information websites are set up for the general population on what they can do. The slightly aged SDI system of the nation is also looked over on, and is getting a overhaul. It's not the population that's overkill, the whole "Already in space" and stuff is a bit. Although that's fine, I guess, since you're not a violent nation.

The Colony's two major settlements, Agrica and Angla, are beginning to prosper -- though Agrica's farming industry is still in its infancy. The two cities have formed a single entity governed by an Assembly, which votes on various matters. The Anglan Party currently has a majority in the Assembly, and takes responsibility for bureaucratic matters such as diplomacy.
The Marquistan Colonists accept Alernica's request for an alliance, and propose trade; for now, supplies of fish for submarine technology. As a small nation, Marquista must rely on Alernica's navy to protect its fishing fleets. 
Agricans are constantly wooed by new technology, and are particularly interested in passive power generation to support their lifestyle. As a result, several of Agrica's greatest minds are collaborating to build a thermal generator with mirrors in the Greater Sandy Desert (leaving the Lesser Sandy Desert alone for now). It is expected to be finished in two turns. --- Marie Jana, accomplished diplomat, sighs as she looks over the rail of her boat. She has been sent to đất Thánh by sea in order to negotiate an alliance. She turns to her companion, a pale teenage lad who looks like he should inside reading rather than riding in a swiftly-moving boat. "What do you think?" she asks. Catching her meaning, Marie's son looks away. "I don't know if this'll work. Even if we form a partnership with đất Thánh, you know our next step is to obtain permission to use the Canal.
