Depends on what I feel like trying to use when I get the game.

Though, Gamecube Controller would be the best for me, as I play too much Melee as it is.

I don't even have the Wii yet, and I will NEVER use anything other than the GC controller for SSBB

Got a wavebird for $17 bucks at gamestop. One rubdown with a disinfectant wipe later and I had the perfect smash controller.

The wiimote + nunchuck configuration seems to be the next best. My only gripe there is the lack of an easily accessible button that acts as a grab / throw. Especially with items on that becomes a pain; throwing shit to edgeguard is an important part of my strategy there.

I use the classic controller. It's a very good controller in every way except for its Z buttons, but luckily they're utterly useless for Brawl.

Gamecube.

Wii + Nunchuck got my butt-kicked. I was guarding when i wanted to jump, and vise-versa...

I've been using the Wiimote only out of pure laziness. I should try the other controls and see what suits me best, but I'll get around to that later.

The goddamn classic controller. Never have I been more angry whilst using it.

I just use the Gamecube controller because I'm so familiar with it. Otherwise, while my brother is using the Gamecube one, I just use the Wiimote alone.

There seems to be an overwhelming majority using the GC controller.

Wiimote+Nunchuck ftw!

Meh, it just seems better than the GCN controller.

I did some tweaking, still using the gamecube controller.

After multiple deaths due to using jumps when attempting to up+b or up+a or whatever, I turned the tilt jump off.

I also moved grab from Z to L and reassigned Z to shield. I'm trying to get used to grabbing with shield + attack instead of just the grab button so I can perform better shield-cancel grabs after a block.

First thing I did when I powered up the game for the first time, that shit drove me mad in melee.

What I do with my GCN controller is disable jumping by pressing up and replace jumping by setting it to the C-stick after disabling shortcut smash attacks. That way, it feels like I'm playing SSB for the N64 when I was young and when I wasn't aware of using up on the Controller stick and using the C buttons to jump instead.
