It tells me that I need to use stuff like sockscap or some proxy thing to do so.

I go and find sock servers and they never let me connect.
I don't get it.

There's enough abuse of Tor as it. If you banned for a good reason, and use Tor to circumvent it...

On the other hand, if the ban was because of someone else... go ahead I guess.
