iirc there's a 'mating game' in LM that remains undiscovered.

Or rather, where in the Lunar magic binary can this be found?

Actually, the dating game was removed a few versions ago. Go back two or three versions in a hex editor and you'll find the strings.

Oh? I could've sworn it was in 1.63..
Don't count on it, though.

*ignores Smallhackers stupid, senseless post*

@ KP9000: I know that editors often just supports one rom but on Zophars it says that the Discombobulator supports the SNES version aswell but when I open it, everything comes out screwed up. Maybe it's just my laptop that it is incompatible with that program, I have sometimes similar problems.

Anyways, I hope Overworld editing will be getting easier too, not that it was hard on Lunar Magic but it was a little bit annoying. Again, good luck.

If it comes out screwed up, see if the ROM you are using has a header. A header is a useless filler at the beginning of the ROM with a length of 0x200 (512 decimal) bytes. Look for a bunch of zeros at the beginning and just delete them. Or add them, if you previously had a ROM with no header and it didn't work...

You can add/delete them using a hex editor or you can use snestool.

I completely forgot about the header. ^^ Thanks for the help.

Edit: Another question: Would be there a way to use more ExGFX in the GBA SMW version? If there's a way of ExGFX inserting, of course.

ExGFX *might* happen. There is plenty of room in the ROM (even without expansion), & the lack of bankswitching makes it much simpler than on the SNES. Then again, I would have to study the way Lunar Magic does it a bit more if I wanted it to be even remotely compatible or similar.

But as for IPS translation - I am running into problems with lots of the data being formatted very slightly differently (an extra bit or byte here & there, stuff in different orders, etc.). It might be doable, but rather involved, so I will probably just release the plain editor first.

Ya sure, it's always good to know the peoples opinion first and seeing if the editor is a success or not before you're going to learn something that isn't even neccessary. Let's see how the editor itself is going to be and then thinking about future plans. ^^

I think you could implement easter eggs, but none that effects editing.
For example:You can put in alternet interfaces or even mini game

Easter eggs are currently the last of my worries with the increasing number of school projects & similar such stuff to do. I have not added anything since spring break (4 weeks ago, if I remember correctly), & this week does not look good either.
