Heh, last week it was raining alot (which is somewhat normal for this time) but the week before that it was more hot than usual. Seems to be the case as well now.

Two years ago it was still snowing at this time, which was strange too. It's expected to be rainy and cold, but not too cold.

Nebraska's catchphrase is similar, but we have to wait less time,

"If you don't like Nebraska weather, check back in 5 minutes"

There's been days where it's gone from freezing, to near 70, back down to freezing in less than 3 hours.

The winter has been messing with us here as well, there's been days when it was in the 60's, and then the very next day it'll be 10 degrees (F) and snowing.

It's starting to piss me off a bit.

Dah, I was looking for a good snowstorm, but we ended up with a truckload of dumb snow and a canevas of glaze. We got the kind of "dumb snow" that makes your shovel split into two because it's too heavy for its own good...

Maybe at least we will have gathered the adequate conditions to drag ourselves behind the car on a crazy carpet...

Honestly, I would rather shovel snow all winter (and spring) than put up with this insane Arizona heat one more summer. I've shoveled snow before, too. Heavy, thick snow. I prefer a colder environment. Easier to warm up than cool down, I always say.

STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH THE SNOW TO CAUSE SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING. IN ADDITION...THE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES.

DO NOT TRAVEL UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN BLIZZARD SITUATIONS. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL, SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME WHEN TRAVELING. PRACTICE YOUR WINTER SAFETY RULES, KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT, FOOD, AND WATER IN YOUR CAR IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

REMEMBER...A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT.

You think Arizona summers are bad, try Nebraska (and I'm sure Ohio summers are probably reminiscent of here) summers. 100+ degrees with humidity that makes you feel like your in a sauna. That's part of the reason I go to work early and leave work late in the summers... to avoid that shit.

Though meteorological spring in the US starts on March 1st, so this snowstorm is somewhat amazing.

We got half-a-foot of snow in Memphis here, but most of that has already melted.
