Thank heaven I know how to work a keyboard, or else I wouldn't be able to make this topic.

More news as the situation develops.

Tsk, believe me. It's a way more intresting situation when you manage to break your keyboard...

Happened before.

There is nothing more frustrating than making lengthy, elaborate posts with the on-screen keyboard...

There's a dent in the wall by my PC from when my wireless keyboard cut out, and I had an essay in for the next day.

Well, I ruined my keyboard on my last computer by spilling coke on it. Two months before I got a new computer. Luckily this was a day before when I was supposed to visit a parents, who have tons of spare computer parts. So I fetched a extra keyboard, which I still keep around incase this wireless keyboard craps out. ._.

Typing on a on screen keyboard is faster than writing letters on animal crossing, but it's still painfully slow.

I managed to get it working. Apparently all it need was some new batteries, despite the fact the mouse appeared to be powered.

bh/Ailure: There's an "on-screen" keyboard? Where?
Whenever my keyboard craps out I have to copypasta letters from random places into wherever I'm typing. This takes...way too long.

C:\windows\system32\osk.exe

There was some more "formal" way to start it, but I forgot about it.

I wouldn't get past actually logging in to my computer.

I bet most people wouldn't be able to.

So if you managed to ruin your keyboard, better hope you don't need to restart the computer. xD

Meh, always a good idea to have a spare keyboard around. Can always take one from a older computer, or buy one cheaply...

USB keyboards are fairly cheap, if you can't find a spare somewhere.

You mean, Microsoft actually did something right for a change?

Well, at least it resolves some deadlock situations. Of course, that's a awkward way of logging in if someone else is looking on the screen at the moment.

There is aparrently a keyboard now that's just a projection and a motion sensor. You can't break that one while just typing. XD

But I figure the projector itself breaks easily. Or disturbed by strong light at least.

More frustrating using it for every space you want.
