I currently use 1024 x 768 on my desktop computer, and I forget the one on my brother's laptop.

1280x1024. 17" LCD.

I feel like reminding other LCD users (particularly Drag) that if you're using a resolution other than your monitor's native resolution (1280x1024 for most 17" and 19" LCDs) the image is being blurred as the data pixels are manipulated to fit the physical pixels. This completely defeats one of the two main reasons to be using an LCD monitor (clarity of image).

(The other is space)

1280x800 is really my only option, because any other non-native resolution looks like crap on this laptop LCD. I use 1024x768 on my family's computer.

I have a nice 22" widescreen LCD (oh, yes) hooked up to two computers, running two different resolutions:

PC #1: 1280x768 (it's the best widescreen mode this ancient video card can do within "safe" hardware specs, and at a decent framerate)
PC #2: 1680x1050 (native resolution, no problem for the GeForce 7800GS)

I actually like 1280x768 better than 1680x1050, since everything's actually readable at that resolution (terrible eyesight as well), and it's not incredibly blurry. I would run 1280x800 and get a correct aspect ratio, but for some reason, it goes off the bottom of the screen, and I can't adjust it.

1280x800, x2 if I had room to move my monitor from the floor onto my desk (For reference, my desk is about 1 1/2' by 5'

Perhaps I'll just have one on the desk and one on the floor One of the monitors is hooked up to a different computer rght now, though;.

My computer is a 15" flatscreen with 1024x768, but it isn't hooked to the Internet () so the computer I'm using now has a 19" Ultrasharp LCD with 1280x1024 resolution. I like it a lot.

1280x1024, the highest my 20" LCD and/or craptastic video card can go. I miss having two monitors at 1600x1200 and 1024x768 though, but then, those were terribly blurry CRTs. Eventually I need to get either an HDTV or another of these NEC Multisync 90GX2 monitors, because they're awesome.

[edit] And my laptop is 1280x800.

1680x1050 20.1" LCD. Yes it was expensive as hell but totally worth it. I use my computer for EVERYTHING, including T.V. so I bought this one.

1280x1024 on a 19" LCD. Crystal clear picture with a resolution high enough to fit my fancy.

I use 1400x1050 when not plugged into a [1024x768] monitor. Does nobody else have a screen with that resolution?

1024x768 now and forever. My eyesight is fine, and my monitor/Graphics card can go a bit higher, but why bother? 1024x768 is perfect for me, anything higher and stuff is just too small for my taste, though I can still read everything, things just don't look right to me.
